Day 3 Mon. Sep 17 - LISBON - SANTAREM - FATIMA: Sightseeing with a Local Guide features
visits to JERONIMOS MONASTERY and the CHURCH of St. ANTHONY. Afterwards, depart for
Fatima, and while en route, visit the CHURCH OF THE HOLY MIRACLE in Santarem, site
of a famous Eucharistic Miracle. Then, visit OUR LADY OF FATIMA SHRINE and the CHAPEL
OF THE APPARITIONS, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three children in 1917. Join
this evening’s rosary and candlelight procession at the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine.

Day 6 Thu. Sep 20- SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA - BURGOS: Travel along the ancient “Way
of St.James” to Burgos, the historic capital of Old Castile. Sightseeing with a Local

Day 7 Fri. Sep 21 - BURGOS - LOURDES, FRANCE: Continue along the Basque coast and
arrive in Lourdes, home to one of the world’s most famous places of pilgrimage. Your

Day 10 Mon. Sep 24 - AVIGNON - NICE AREA - MILAN, ITALY: Stop in Nice, browse through
the elegant shops or stroll along the Promenade des anglais. Join your Tour Director
for a walk through the OLD TOWN and its colourful flower market. Free time for lunch
while in Nice. Next travel to the dynamic city of Milan, hub of Italy’s economic
miracle with its famous La Scala Opera House, glass-domed GALLERIA, and magnificent

Day 11 Tue. Sep 25 - MILAN - VERONA - PADUA: This morning stop in Verona, medieval
setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. See Juliet’s Balcony and stroll around
the lovely market square. Don’t miss the Arena, an incredibly well-preserved pink
marble Roman amphitheatre. Built in the 1st century AD, it is now the magical venue
for world-famous opera performances. Next, visit the BASILICA OF ST.ANTHONY to see
the tomb and reliquaries of this miracle-working saint and patron of lost and stolen

Day 12 Wed. Sep 26 - PADUA - RAVENNA - ASSISI - ROME: Along the coastline of the
